If you’re new here, welcome.
If you’ve been here a while, you know that one of the traders I highly respect is Linda Raschke.
Her trading approach, style, and willingness to share with others have helped so many traders over the decades.
She has a knack for taking the work and research done by traders who came before us and modeling it for her own trading in the modern markets. (Taylor, Crabel, etc.)
I’m pretty sure part of her wants to retire, ride horses, and relax, but like a lot of us traders, she just loves the game too much to really hang up her hat…
Anyway, she’s been active on Twitter (X) recently and here are three of her best.
We’ve all made these mistakes!
I think “I’m trying to make something happen in less than ideal conditions” is the biggest one…
Guilty!
A strategy one next:
This is about the 5 SMA play.
- Price should close > 7 times above the 5-day SMA
- Buy on the first close below
- Sell on the first close above
A textbook example here on Yen with zero heat
Finally, this gem.
Process + Risk Management + Mindset.
That’s the game ladies and gents, that’s the game.
