The 6 O' Clock Shock
Last week I added a new strategy to Trading Plan Pro.
It’s called 6 o’ Clock Shock and is based around an ignition bar often occurring back in the direction of the VWAP after 6pm GMT.
It’s a pattern that I observed in the markets and built a trading strategy around.
A lot of these types of patterns are based on market symmetry.
They come and go, sometimes stay for months, other times a few days.
But the market loves symmetry.
Look at how 4pm GMT became a key swing point last week on the QQQ for multiple days in a row.
Can you develop a tradeable strategy around these observations?
Of course…
Will it last?
Probably not.
But that doesn’t matter if you have a process in place for spotting these things.
I personally find it easier at the end of the day. Market closed, trading done.
Me, a 5 minute chart, and some deep focus music… ahh bliss…
Anyway…
This email isn’t really about the 6 o’ Clock Shock or Mr. 4pm algo.
It’s a reminder for you to start looking for these patterns.
Use your journaling time to really look at the chart, observe, take notes, and then you can be ahead of the game next time we get a tradeable opportunity.
Happy hunting…
