Wait, a Jesse Livermore ETF?
Can AI Mimic Market Titans in the Jesse Livermore ETF?
So… they’ve gone and done it.
They’ve named an ETF after Jesse Livermore.
Yes, that Jesse Livermore.
A bit ironic, really, given Livermore’s wild ride in the markets.
But here we are – meet the Jesse Livermore ETF ($LIVR).
Can AI Mimic Market Titans in the Jesse Livermore ETF?
Not much to see yet…
But the interesting thing is that the $LIVR ETF uses tools like ChatGPT and Claude to pick its holdings.
I was waiting for someone to do this…
Essentially they’ve created an ‘investment committee’ with ChatGPT.
On the ‘committee’?
Legends like Warren Buffett, Stanley Druckenmiller, and David Tepper.
The goal is to mimic the investing strategies of these titans using AI.
The Portfolio
Here’s a taste of what the fund is working with right now:
- PDD Holdings (4.60%)
- Meta Platforms (4.55%)
- Nvidia (4.51%)
- Taiwan Semiconductor (4.41%)
- Procter & Gamble (2.96%)
(Shrug…)
Alright, so this is probably never going to be a trading vehicle for us.
But I think it’s interesting to see someone launch an ETF basically using ChatGPT.
Oh, and charging a 0.69% annual fee… gotta love capitalism!
Wait…
‘69’, Jesse Livermore, ChatGPT.
Elon may have been right about the simulation…
