I’m not sure why this popped up on my X timeline, I don’t follow the guy.

But sometimes, the message is just oh-so-perfect for us traders…

EVEN IN STILLNESS, THERE’S PROGRESS

For traders, this means that when there’s no opportunity, when the market isn’t setting up, it’s time to change gears.

Take that time to read, reflect, study and journal.

Because trying to trade in a choppy market environment is like fishing in a storm. Sure, you might get lucky… but there’s a good chance you’ll just wipe out.

It’s better to step back and use the downtime wisely:

Pick up that trading book gathering dust on your shelf.
Watch that webinar you bookmarked months ago.
Dive into your journal and analyse past trades.

Progress doesn’t always mean action, it can come from preparation, reflection, and learning.
