ChatGPT For Traders
How the New Memory Feature Can Level Up Your Trading Workflow
ChatGPT has been busy doing all sorts of updates recently.
To be frank, most of it doesn’t really apply to us traders.
Except this one thing…
MEMORY UPDATE
Yep, ChatGPT can now remember what you’ve told it over time.
Put the privacy argument to one side for a sec (we ain’t got time to open that can of worms!)…
This is actually a very handy upgrade for traders.
Why?
Because the more context and detail you give it over time, the more helpful and tailored it becomes.
So, if you’ve been uploading your journal, talking through psychology issues, and logging patterns, it can now start to spot themes and give more you-specific feedback.
Eventually, I reckon it’ll factor in market conditions too.
Imagine this:
It’s pre-market. The Nasdaq is gapping up.
You open voice mode and start talking through ideas.
ChatGPT pipes up:
“Just a reminder d*ckhead… you tend to rush in on gap-ups. Your best trades usually come after letting things settle.”
Not quite there yet, but it’s close.
And the best time to start training it to understand you was months ago.
The second-best time is today. Past Tips You Can Use Right Now
In case you missed them, here’s a recap of the best ChatGPT tricks I’ve shared so far:
- Use “tasks” mode to create reminders, goals & check-ins
- 5 key prompts every trader should try
- Reveal your trading blind spots
- Use advanced voice mode in your pre-market routine
- Turn ChatGPT into your accountability buddy
- Walk & talk with it for trade clarity
- Find and test strategies with AI (London talk)
Plenty to work with.
If you haven’t started using it properly yet, now’s a good time.
